Triton's Castanon picked as top NJCAA DIII goalkeeper

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has named Triton College's Alan Castanon as the Division III Goalie of the Week for September 10-16 (Week 3). The honor is the first for Castanon and the first this season for the Trojans.

Castanon, a sophomore from Prosser High School in Illinois, made ten saves and allowed one goal in helping Triton College to Region IV wins over Joliet Junior College, Rock Valley College, and Harper College. He logged 235 minutes in net for the Trojans, who are ranked #7 in the latest NJCAA Division III Poll and boast a record of 8-1 on the season.
