Leal of Prairie State takes top billing for DI All-Region Team

Prior to helping lead his team to his team to their first Region IV title in school history, freshman Antonio Leal of Prairie State College was voted the Player of the Year as the top vote-getter on the 2019 Divison I Men's Soccer All-Region IV Team. The 5'11" forward from Belem, Brazil, racked up 25 goals, 13 assists, and 63 points, ranking him among the nation's top 15 in all three categories. Leal, along with teammate Alejandro Lopez, Waubonsee Community College's Adrian Bravo Cobain, and Lukas Palma of Morton College, received the region's NJCAA All-American nominations. After claiming the Region IV Tournament, Prairie State College's Andres Osorio was selected as Region IV Tournament MVP and Carlos Reyes was named Region IV Coach of the Year.
