The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has named Rock Valley College's Breanna Crown as the Division III Softball Pitcher of the Week for April 15-21 (Week 13). The honor is the third time this season - and the sixth time in her career - that Crown has been recognized as the best in the nation, while also marking the fifth weekly honor overall for the Golden Eagles this season.

Crown, a sophomore from Davis Junction, Illinois, went 3-0 with 11 strikeouts over 14 innings pitched during the week. She opened the week with a seven-strikeout, one-hitter against Elgin Community College that resulted in a 17-0 win for RVC. Crown followed that up with six innings of work over two games against #11 and surrendered just two runs on five hits with a pair of K's in a sweep of the WolfPack. The week concluded with a win over Prairie State College that featured just two hits in four innings with two more punchouts.

Crown is tied for the most wins in the nation with 17 and sits second in strikeouts with 112. She and the top-ranked Golden Eagles are currently 40-10 on the season.
