The numbers speak for themselves over a brilliant two-year career, and as a result, Rock Valley College's Breanna Crown was named the 2019 Dudley® NJCAA Division III Softball Pitcher of the Year. The sophomore righthander from Davis Junction, Illinois, picks up the honor for the second consecutive year as she caps a record-setting stay with the national champion Golden Eagles.

During the 2019 season, Crown led the nation with a 25-6 record, and posted a 1.93 earned run average over 177-plus innings. She tosses three shutouts, threw 16 complete games, and racked up 153 strikeouts to rank third in the country in K's.

In the process, the Region IV Division III top vote-getter also garnered North Central Community College Conference MVP honors, two-time All-Region IV and All-N4C accolades, two-time NJCAA DIII First Team All-American honors, and four NJCAA DIII Pitcher of the Week selections to give her seven for her career.

Crown was a vital piece to the Golden Eagles claiming a sixth-consecutive NJCAA DIII championship, earning Tournament MVP and Most Outstanding Pitcher accolades.
