Madison wins first Region IV title with 1-0 decision

JOLIET, ILL. - The Madison College women's soccer team used a 4' goal to win the 2017 Region IV Division III Championship, the first in program history. Just the fourth year of the program, the WolfPack used a 4' goal by freshman Erin True and six saves from sophomore Brandie Gospodarek to defeat Joliet Junior College by a 1-0 final.

Madison College improved to 14-1-2 on the season, with the lone loss coming to the Wolves on October 11. The WolfPack advance to the NJCAA District D Tournament Championship against Region XIII winner Anoka-Ramsey Community College on Saturday, October 28.
