NJCAA tabs Waubonsee's Garland for Player of the Week

The National Junior College Athletic Assocation (NJCAA) has named Waubonsee Community College's Kayley Garland as its Division III Player of the Week for October 23-29 (Week 9). The honor is the first such award for the Garland, as well as for the Chiefs, this season.

Garland scored five goals off ten shots on goal in an 8-0 blanking of the College of Lake County. The five-goal effort is a season-high for the sophomore forward, who also has two four-goal matches as part of 11 total multi-goal performances this season.
