NJCAA picks Harper's Heinrich for top weekly honor

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has selected Harper College's Sydney Heinrich as the Division III Goalie of the Week for September 10-16 (Week 3). The national honor is the first for Heinrich and the first this season for the Hawks.

Heinrich, a freshman from Hoffman Estates, Illinois, made ten saves and allowed one goal in three games for the Hawks. She earned her first career shutouts with wins over Elgin Community College and Triton College, while also helping to defeat Elgin Community College. Heinrich logged a total of 270 minutes to earn the three victories, all against Region IV opponents. Harper College is currently 4-2 on the season.
