TUCSON, ARIZ. - The Rock Valley College women's soccer team made their first appearance at the NJCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championships in 2023, which also marked just the second national tournament appearance in program history. The Golden Eagles were unable to advance past pool play, and finished their season with a 16-4-3 record.

The #11-seeded in the field, Rock Valley College was placed in Pool B and opened competition with a 2-0 loss to #2-seeded Northwest Mississippi Community College. In need of a win to keep any hope of a spot in the quarterfinal round alive, the Golden Eagles were upended by #7-seed Johnson County Community College by a 4-0 tally to complete their tournament run, while JCCC went on to finish as national runners-up.
