PALOS HILLS, ILL - Since winning the Region 4 crown in 2018, the College of Lake County women's tennis team has been unable to return to the top of the mountain. The streak ended on October 9 & 10 when the Lancers claimed the 2021 Region 4 Division I Championship held at Moraine Valley Community College. Bryant & Stratton College sophomores Valentine Kukuruzovic and Nikold Torres were named Region 4 Most Valuable Player and the Sportsmanship Award Player recipients, respectively. CLC's Jim Love took home Region 4 Coach of the Year.

The Bobcats dominated the top two singles flights with Valentine Kukuruzovic and Torres taking home the titles in Flight #1 and Flight #2, respectively. Kenzie Hubbard of SVCC took home top honors in Flight #3, followed by the Lake County trio of Adele Hutton, Kate Jackson, and Angie Rodriguez in the final three flights.

The doubles competition saw the BSC team of Torres and Kukuruzovic claim Flight #1, and Flights #2 and #3 ending up with duos from SVCC and CLC, respectively.
