Madison's Hostetler leads the pack on All-Region teams

Compiling the second-most kills in the nation and breaking all of her school's kills records has landed Madison College sophomore Paige Hostetler atop the list of 2018 NJCAA All-Region IV Women's Volleyball honorees, a collection that includes numerous others among the nation's best at their positions. Hostetler finished with 443 kills and a 5.09 kills per set average to lead the region, while also re-establishing new single-season and all-time records for the WolfPack. Joining Hostetler on the list of All-American nominees is Mallory Hecox of Rock Valley College, Harper College's Karolina Sas, and Joliet Junior College's Cuay Whitener. Whitener and Hecox sit third and sixth, respectively, in the nation for kills, while Sas is seventh in digs. Region champion Rock Valley College placed five players on the all-region teams, the most of any team, followed by Madison College with four. Kristy Pierce was awarded the Region IV Coach of the Year.
