UPDATE: Triton College lost 96-92 to Moberly Area Community College (MO) in the NJCAA District IV Championship in River Grove, Illinois, on Saturday, March 9. The Trojans end their season with a 30-4 record.
Triton College conquers Region IV Division I with championship in first year back
The 2019 NJCAA Region IV Division I Men's Basketball Tournament will begin on Tuesday, February 26 with a play-in game at the higher seed. It will follow with games on February 28, March 2, and the championship on March 4. All games will be played at Joliet Junior College in Joliet, Illinois. The Region IV Division I champion will host the Region XVI winner in the NJCAA District IV Championship on March 9 for the right to qualify for the 2019 NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championships (aka "The Tournament") in Hutchinson, Kansas, from March 18-23, 2019.
