The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has released its list of All-Americans for the 2019 fall sports season, and ten student-athletes representing NJCAA Region IV were recognized. The group includes six All-Americans in volleyball, three in men's soccer, and one in women's soccer. Two student-athletes were named first team, while six received second team and two were honorable mention. Harper College and Madison College each boast a pair of NJCAA All-Americans to lead all Region IV schools.

When the votes were finally counted after the 2019 season, a player from Triton College once again found himself at the top of the list as the Region IV Division III Men's Soccer Team was announced. Sophomore Christopher Modzejewski was the top vote-getter and Player of the Year after earning all-region accolades for a second consecutive season. The 6'0" sophomore forward from Chicago, Illinois, posted 22 goals, 15 assists, and 59 points, which placed him in the top ten nationally in all three categories. Modzejewski is joined by Oscar Suarez of Harper College and fellow Trojan Piotr Pyz as the region's NJCAA's All-American nominees. The Trojans won the Region IV Tournament, allowing for freshman midfielder Marcin Kieta to take home Region IV Tournament Most Valuable Player accolades and Piotr Sliwa to earn Region IV Coach of the Year honors.

Prior to helping lead his team to his team to their first Region IV title in school history, freshman Antonio Leal of Prairie State College was voted the Player of the Year as the top vote-getter on the 2019 Divison I Men's Soccer All-Region IV Team. A 5'11" forward from Belem, Brazil, racked up 25 goals, 13 assists, and 63 points, ranking him among the nation's top 15 in all three categories. Leal, along with teammate Alejandro Lopez, Waubonsee Community College's Adrian Bravo Cobain, and Lukas Palma of Morton College, received the region's NJCAA All-American nominations. After claiming the Region IV Tournament, Prairie State College's Andres Osorio was selected as Region IV Tournament MVP and Carlos Reyes was named Region IV Coach of the Year.

Prairie State makes history with first Region IV championship

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, ILL. - A penalty kick early in the match was enough to send Prairie State College the its first Region IV Division I Men's Soccer Championship in school history as it defeated Morton College by a 1-0 final on November 2. The #1-seeded Pioneers have won 13 straight matches after the win over the #2-seed and defending champion Panthers.

Golden goal gives Triton College Region IV DIII title in 2OT

RIVER GROVE, ILL. - It was no surprise that the rubbermatch between Triton College and Harper College needed more than the regulation 90 minutes to settle a winner. Seven minutes into the game's second overtime, freshman Marcin Kieta scored a game-winner to give the #1 Trojans a 2-1 win over the #2 Hawks to claim the 2019 NJCAA Region IV Division III Men's Soccer Championship on Saturday. The title is the 16th in program history for Triton College.

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has named Prairie State College's Antonio Leal as the Division I Men's Soccer Player of the Week for September 30-October 6 (Week 6). The award is the first such honor for Leal, and the first this season for the Pioneers.

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has named Triton College's Piotr Pyz as the Division III Men's Soccer Goalie of the Week for September 23-29 (Week 5). The award is the first such honor for Pyz, and the first this season for the Trojans.

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has named Harper College's Majeed Hassan as the Division III Men's Soccer Player of the Week for September 2-8 (Week 2). The honor is the first of its kind for Hassan, and the first this season for the Hawks.
