Region 4 adding two new members in 2024-25 with Blackhawk Tech, UW-Whitewater at Rock County

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 4 membership will grow by two for the 2024-25 academic calendar with a pair of Janesville, Wisconsin-based institutions. Blackhawk Technical College and UW-Whitewater at Rock County will push the number of school in Region 4 to 32.
Blackhawk Technical College will field teams in golf, men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, and men's and women's bowling, as well as co-ed clay shooting and Esports. The Talons will compete at the NJCAA Division II level, with women's volleyball, Esports, and men's golf competing as club teams in the fall. Athletic Director Todd Voss has indicated that BTC hopes to add men's and women's cross country for 2025-26, and men's and women's soccer for 2026-27.
UW-Whitewater at Rock County begins their athletic program with women's volleyball and men's soccer ready to compete in the Fall 2024 season. The Warhawks will be led by Athletic Director Samantha Soddy and will compete in NJCAA Division III.
Also in 2024-25, Harper College will move from Division III to Division II in men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, baseball, and softball.
