Rock Valley's 3rd place finishes leads Region 4 contingent at NJCAA Bowling Championships

CHEEKTOWAGA, NY - Rock Valley College's reign atop the junior college bowling world came to an end with a third place finish at the 2025 NJCAA Men's Bowling Championships on March 1. The Golden Eagles, who had won the previous three national titles, finished the three-day competition in third place behind champion Iowa Western Community College. Joliet Junior College finished eighth and Kishwaukee College placed 17th out of 22 teams. Freshman Charlie Hunt of RVC earned NJCAA All-American honors. (Recap: NJCAA | Rock Valley)
Rock Valley College finished with 13,769 pins, while IWCC had 14,341 and second place Hudson Valley Community College racked up 13,807. Hunt tallied 2,543 pins with an average of 211.9 per game en route to a third place individual finish. Iowa Western's Allen Stauffer took the individual crown with 2,759 pins, including a perfect game.
The Wolves posted 12,741 pins, and the Kougars registered 8,388.
