NJCAA alters national tournament schedules with trio of teams to represent Region IV

The pandemic known as COVID-19 has forced the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) to adjust the schedules of many upcoming championship tournaments. Rock Valley College will not only compete in, but also host, the 2020 NJCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championships from March 12-13 in Rockford, Illinois, while Bryant & Stratton College and Kankakee Community College will play in the 2020 JCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championships in Port Huron, Michigan, which has been shifted from March 17-21 to a start date of April 20. All three teams return to the national stage for the first time since 2018 after all failed to qualify in 2019.
