The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) named Rock Valley College's Madie Miller the Division III Women's Soccer Goalie of the Week for October 7-13 (Week 7). The award is the first such honor for Miller, and the first this season for the Golden Eagles.

Miller, a freshman, helped Rock Valley College extend their winning streak to seven straight matches with wins over NAIA Trinity Christian College and Madison College. The Rockford, Illinois, native made one save en route to her seventh shutout win as part of a 1-0 decision against the Trolls, and then posted four saves to take down the then #8-ranked WolfPack by a 2-1 final in Wisconsin.

For the year, Miller has made 42 saves and allowed six goals, and ranks seventh in the nation with a 0.50 goals against average. Rock Valley College, which is now receiving votes in the latest NJCAA Division III Poll, is 10-2 and will wrap up the regular season on Thursday, October 17 against Joliet Junior College.
