UPDATE: Highland Community College lost 86-59 to Miles Community College (MT) in the NJCAA District D Championship in Freeport, Illinois, on Saturday, March 9. The Cougars finish 15-6.
Repeat champions as Highland claims another Region IV Division I title
The 2019 NJCAA Region IV Division I Women's Basketball Tournament will begin on Tuesday, February 26 with a play-in game at the site of the higher seed. It will follow with semifinal games on March 2 and the championship on March 4. All games will be played at Joliet Junior College in Joliet, Illinois. The Region IV Division I champion will host the Region XIII winner in the NJCAA District D Championship on March 9 for the right to qualify for the 2019 NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championships in Lubbock, Texas, from March 18-23, 2019.
