2020 Region 4 Division II Women's Soccer Tournament
UPDATE: Waubonsee Community College rallied from a one-goal half time deficit to defeat the College of Lake County by a 3-2 final to win the 2020 Region 4 Division II Women's Soccer Tournament Championship in Sugar Grove, Illinois. The Chiefs, who are region champs for the second time, received two goals from Olivia McPherson, but it was midfielder Yari Aguado who netted the game winner and the Region 4 Tournament Most Valuable Player award. Blad Schlemmer was named the Region 4 Coach of the Year.
Waubonsee CC earned an automatic spot at the NJCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championships in Evans, Georgia, and were joined by the College of Lake County, who earned an at-large bid. The Chiefs opened with a dramatic loss in penalty kicks when Muskegon Community College outkicked WCC 4-3 after a 2-2 draw in regulation. A second dramatic loss, this time 3-2 in double overtime, to Phoenix College prevented Waubonsee from getting beyond Pool A and ended their season with a 10-2-2 mark. The Chargers picked up a 3-2 victory in their tournament opener against CCBC-Essex was not enough to get CLC through Pool C after they suffered a 5-0 loss to Jones College to give the College of Lake County a final 8-3 record.
Sophomore midfielder Alexandra Wawryzniak from the College of Lake County was named the Region 4 Player of the Year after scoring 13 goals and dishing out six assists.

2020 Region IV Division II Women's Soccer Tournament
The 2020 NJCAA Region 4 Division II Women's Soccer Tournament (Played in Spring 2021) begins with quarterfinal matches on May 16, moves on to semifinal matches on May 19, and concludes with a championship match on May 23, with the higher seed hosting each game. The winner advances as the NJCAA Central District representative to the NJCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championships are in Evans, Georgia, from June 4-9.
