2021 Region 4 Division I Baseball Tournament
UPDATE: South Suburban College won the Region 4 Division I Tournament with a resounding 16-6 victory over Triton College in the championship game in South Holland, Illinois. En route tot their 13th Region 4 title, the Bulldogs picked up an 8-4 decision over Triton College and a 16-8 victory in eight innings against Kishwaukee College the previous day. Second baseman Connor Tomasic went 2 for 4 with two runs, two RBI, and a walk in the finale and was named Region 4 Tournament Most Valuable Player. Coach Steve Ruzich was awarded Region 4 Coach of the Year.
South Suburban College advanced to and hosted the NJCAA Midwest District Tournament, where they suffered a 15-4 setback to Wabash Valley College and a season-ending 6-3 loss to Kaskaskia College. The Bulldogs finished with a 41-19 record.
Sophomore infielder Logan Anderson was named the Region 4 Player of the Year after hitting .380 with 14 home runs, 76 runs scored, and 64 runs batted in.

The 2021 NJCAA Region 4 Division I Baseball Tournament begins with a Round Robin format on Thursday, May 13 at South Suburban College in South Holland, Illinois. The teams with the best records will play on Friday, May 14 for the championship. If all three teams finish with 1-1 records, seeds #2 and #3 will play for the right to advance to the championship against seed #1. The Region 4 champion will advance to and host the NJCAA Midwest District Tournament on May 19-21, with the district champion earning an automatic bid to the 2021 NJCAA Division I World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado, from May 29-June 5, 2021.
