2021 Region 4 Division III Baseball Tournament
UPDATE: Oakton Community College defeated all challengers at the Region 4 Division III Baseball Tournament and completed a three-peat with a 5-1 victory over Joliet Junior College in the championship in Des Plaines, Illinois. The Owls opened with a 10-2 drubbing of Waubonsee Community College, and followed with an 11-6 decision over the College of DuPage to reach the title round. Right fielder Steele Beatty, who was one of two Oakton players to homer in the game, scored three times and was named the Region 4 Division III Tournament Most Valuable Player. Bill Fratto secured the Region 4 Coach of the Year award.
Oakton CC advanced to the NJCAA Great Lake District Tournament, where they were swept Owens Community College in Ohio by scores of 13-3 and 11-10. The Owls, however, were awarded an at-large bid into the NJCAA Division III World Series in Greeneville, Tennessee, where they produced a 2-2 record. After an extra innings 6-5 loss to Coastal Bend College sent the Owls into the consolation bracket, Oakton CC regained momentum with wins over Rockingham Community College, 9-3 in 14 innings, and St. Cloud Technical & Community College, 14-12. A narrow 7-6 defeat at the hands of Niagara County Community College ended the Owls season with a 32-21 record.
Freshman infielder Christian Seegers, who also homered in the Region 4 championship game, was named the Region 4 Division III Player of the Year. He scored 53 runs, drove in 49 more, and hit 11 home runs on his way to a .346 batting average.

2021 Region 4 Division III Tournament
The 2021 NJCAA Region 4 Division III Baseball Tournament consists of a double-elimination tournament from May 13-16. The first round will be held at two sites: Oakton Community College in Des Plaines, Illinois, and the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, while Oakton CC will host the remainder of the tournament. The winner will advance to the NJCAA Great Lakes District Tournament on May 21-22 at the site of the Region 12 winner. The district champion earns an automatic bid to the 2021 NJCAA Division III World Series in Greeneville, Tennessee, from May 29-June 3.
