2022 Region 4 Division II Women's Soccer Tournament
Magical season yields first Region 4 crown for South Suburban
**UPDATE: South Suburban College was awarded the #11 seed for the 2022 NJCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championships in Tucson, Arizona, from November 14-19. Playing in Pool B, the Bulldogs lost their opener 2-1 to #2-seeded and eventual NJCAA Division II National Champion Phoenix College. They also lost a 4-1 contest to #7-seed Southwestern Illinois College. Natalia Guerra and Priscilla Sotelo each tallied a goal as SSC finished their season 13-5-1.
The 2022 NJCAA Region 4 Division II Women's Soccer Tournament begins Sunday, October 29 with quarterfinal matches, followed by semifinal matches on Tuesday, November 1, and the championship match on Saturday, November 5. The higher seed will host every game. The Region 4 winner automatically qualifies as the NJCAA Midwest District representative to the 2022 NJCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championships in Tucson, Arizona, from November 14-19.
